Monday Moodboard at the Haus

A curated start to the week

Mondays at the Haus are for resetting, planning, and gathering a little inspiration for the week ahead. This moodboard is a snapshot of what I’m loving, cooking, thinking about, and saving right now — a small collection of ideas to ease into the week with intention.

Consider this your permission to start slow, plan simply, and enjoy what’s ahead.

This Week’s Moodboard

What's on the Board This Week

1. Listening: Chill Lounge French House Mix

At the end of the day I like to turn off ALL the big lights and play music while I am cooking. If you know me, I also love to theme the music to the food I am cooking aka tacos = spanish music, Italian = Frank Sinatra, etc. I also have a chill lounge mix Spotify has put together based on my likes so I am sharing it HERE. Let me know what you think!

2. Dinner is Meal Prep

When I just can't get myself to meal prep on the weekend, I'll usually make a double batch of dinner on Monday night so I can have mealprep leftovers for the week (or atleast most of the week). I am sharing my chicken & pork meatball recipe HERE. So I don't get bored, I made 2 different preps: Meatballs, Pasta, Veggies, and Raos OR Meatballs, Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Veggies, and 1/2 an avocado.

3. Wild Pastures Meat = MIND BLOWN

I can not get over how incredible the quality and taste of the Wild Pastures' meat is. I started with the bacon last week and used the chicken and pork in my meatball recipe. I can never go back to grocery store meat again! If you use this LINK you'll get $20 off your first box! It's worth the investment to eat wholesome, healthy, clean food for my family, you should try it too!

4. 2026 The Year of Aesthetic Ali

Last year we moved into our new house, we were go, go, go. Now that it's almost been a year I can finally take the time to nest and make it a home. I have always wanted that "Pinterest perfect" shower so I went on Amazon and decluttered our shower niche. For $40 I can say I am thrilled with the outcome! This is the year of doing the little things that make each day brighter. If that means making shampoo and conditioner look cohesive in a shower then damn I am doing it.

5. Weekend Project: Painting

Yes, I woke up on a Saturday and decided I was going to paint our watercloset... and it was SO WORTH IT. I went with the color Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog. It's the first room I painted since we moved in and I can't wait to move onto the master! I've linked all the bathroom refresh items HERE. The art was a TJ Maxx find; each piece was $15.

6. Do you even Butter... Bell?

Soft, spreadable, counter top ready. Let me introduce to you the french butter bell. I grew up with one and you need one too! Butter is kept fresh using a water seal. Check out the one I use in my home, and shop all my kitchen tools on amazon.

7. Spring Patio Parties

Heading into Spring means I am gearing up to host friends and family over for a good grill and chill! Our grill project is officially 90% complete! Last week I shared where we got the granite and stone from, this week I am sharing the floating shelves I found on Wayfair linked HERE. I will be hanging a second set on the left, and possibly a light over each side. I will share those next week!

8. Valentine's Date Night at BLANC

J and I had the best dinner at BLANC for an early VDAY date night since he is gone (yes the Miami boat show is Valentines weekend every single year and hes been with the boat house for 10 years and that means 10 missed Valentines). We get ahead and celebrate before he leaves and honestly its so nice because it's not busy! BLANC is a small, intimate, french restaurant right off McGregor. It's beer and wine only which works just fine for us.

Our BLANC Order

  • Starters: Octopus, French Onion Soup, & Caesar Salad
  • Dinners: J the Pork Chop, Myself the Lam Lollipops (small portion)
  • Wine: Tempranillo

I linked my outfit details HERE! I bought this dress for my Birthday last year and love how it was perfect for a valentines date night.

We obviously had to get a nightcap (we don't eat out often anymore!) so I finally got my way and we stopped at Palace Pub Wine Bar where I picked up a couple of bottles from their shop, and enjoyed a glass of Argentinian Malbec.
