Welcome to My Corner of the Internet
After three straight weeks of travel, I spent last week doing something I hadn't done in a while—staying home.
There were no early departures, no itineraries to follow, and no restaurants I felt obligated to try. Instead, I spent the week resetting routines, finishing projects around the house, and appreciating all the little things I missed while we were away.
As much as I love traveling, I always find myself craving the routines waiting for me at home.

Life Lately
June has definitely become our travel month. My business and Jeremy's slows down, June has become the month we can take a breath after a long season. Between the Keys, Murphy, North Carolina, and now California wine country coming up this week, I've been soaking up every adventure while also realizing how much I value the slower weeks in between.
This past week was intentionally quiet. Jeremy was away on a work trip for a few days, so I leaned into all my favorite reset activities: meal prep, long walks, cleaning out the pantry and refrigerator, catching up on house projects, and spending time with the dogs.

One evening I joined my neighbors for a little mango picking adventure, which felt like the most Florida activity possible.
Sometimes the best weeks don't make for dramatic stories—they just help you feel like yourself again.
Around the House
One of the biggest updates this week was finally painting my office.

If you've been following along, you know I've gone back and forth on this room for months. The paint is done, the curtains are hung, and for the first time I can actually see the vision coming together.
For now, I'm resisting the urge to rush the finishing touches. I'm still debating between Jeremy's fish mount and artwork for the wall, so I'm giving myself permission to live with the room for a few weeks before making any final decisions.

I've also been trimming back my jasmine wall and tackling some long-overdue organizing projects around the garage and house. After weeks of coming and going, it felt good to get everything back in order.
I've linked everything I used in my LTK HERE.
What I'm Eating
When I travel, I love trying new foods.
When I'm home? I'm a complete creature of habit.
Last week looked exactly how I like it:
- My standard breakfast every morning
- Meal-prepped lunches and dinners
- Plenty of water
- A few detox baths mixed in for good measure

Nothing glamorous, but after a few weeks of vacation meals and restaurant hopping, it felt really good to get back to the basics.
Looking Forward To

2025 Wine Trip: Finger Lakes NY, Dr. Konstantin Frank 1883 Vineyard Tour
We've been talking about this getaway for months, and I'm looking forward to great wine, beautiful scenery, good food, and simply spending time together.
This will actually be my fourth California wine trip with Emily. Last year we explored the New York Finger Lakes, and over the years we've found some incredible wineries, tasting experiences, and hidden gems together. While I'm excited to discover new favorites in California, I thought I'd share a few of the places we've loved most from previous trips.
Wine Country Favorites Worth Saving:
If you're planning your own wine getaway, these are a few experiences that still stand out years later.
VGS Wine & Cheese Pairing St. Helena, CA Elusa Vineyards
Lasseter Family Winery Glen Ellen, CA Schramsberg Sparkling Tasting Calistoga, CA
For now, though, I'm ending this Moodboard feeling grateful for a week at home before the next adventure begins.
