Monday Moodboard: Spring Hosting & Everyday Home Moments

Monday Moodboard: Spring Hosting & Everyday Home Moments

A curated start to the week

Last week felt like the official shift into spring around here — celebrating six years married, finishing projects we’ve slowly been working on, and hosting one of my favorite workshops yet. This week’s moodboard is a little bit of everything: wine nights, date nights, creative gatherings, and the small upgrades that make everyday life feel special.

This Week’s Moodboard

1. The First Ada's Workshop SUCCESS

We hosted our very first workshop at Ada’s last Wednesday evening, and it completely filled my cup. With a sold-out class of 23 ladies, everyone created a heart-shaped board while sipping natural Bonterra wines (compliments of Ada’s). Watching women build, chat, learn, and bond over something creative reminded me exactly why I love teaching the things I’m passionate about.

Workshops have a way of bringing people together in such a meaningful way.

Our next public workshop date is coming in April — and I’m officially offering private workshops for small groups this spring. Whether it’s a birthday, bridal shower, or just an excuse to gather your girlfriends, consider this your sign.

2. Spring Wines I am Loving

White wine season is officially here.

I did a Trader Joe’s restock and have been loving slow evenings outside by the pool. There’s something about that first glass of crisp white wine in the Florida air that just signals spring.

One of my favorite small hosting upgrades has been our wine bucket stand  — it keeps everything within reach without cluttering the table. Simple, functional, and perfect for outdoor evenings.

3. Celebrated 6 Years with J

Our anniversary will forever be shared with the Bonita Springs Boat Show (the life of a boat wife), but J truly pulled it together this year and surprised me with not one, but two date nights.

We adventured to Oise  and Aqua Bistecca — both delivered 10/10 on food, ambiance, and service. Time has always been my love language, and slowing down for intentional dinners felt like the best way to celebrate six years.

Oise Order:

  • Drinks: French 75 & Tequila Soda
  • Apps: Yuzu-Kosho Caesar Salad (to die for Baby Gem Lettuce my newest obsession), Ceviche Roll, Crispy Tuna Rice
  • Dinner: Filet Mignon, Truffle Sesame Carbonara, & Oise Corn Elotes

Aqua Bisteca Order (way too much but hey were foodies):

  • Drinks: Cosmo & Tequila Soda
  • Apps: Focaccia with Whipped Cannellini Beans, Little Gem Caesar, Filet Carpaccio
  • Dinner: Orrechiette all'Uovo & Whole Lubimar Branzino

4. Trying Rent the Runway

Not everything worked (which feels on-brand for me 😂), but one dress was a keeper and reminded me that trying new things is half the fun.

5. Spring Windows

The shop window has officially been Spring-afied - the incredibly talented Gabby did her thing.  I love how small visual changes can shift the entire energy of a space. It feels lighter, brighter, and ready for the season.

6. On the Menu This Week

I still have a whole chicken from my Wild Pastures shipment and came across a new herb roasted chicken with mustard sauce recipe I’m planning to try this week. Stay tuned for the full review — I’m craving simple, herb-forward dinners right now.

7. TV Movies & Shows

If you haven’t watched The Housemaid, you need to. No questions asked. It’s hands down one of the best thrillers I’ve seen — I was guessing until the very end.

And yes, Bridgerton season 4 is officially out on Netflix. Another binge-worthy series.

8. Small Business Gifting

Time and time again, Ives Curated Gifts ALWAYS come through for me when I'm short on time. Their text-to-shop feature is honestly genius — the team curates the perfect gift via text, and all you have to do is pick up and pay (yes, they wrap too).

Text To Shop: 239-418-0060

Supporting small, thoughtful businesses will always matter to me.

9. Home Projects: 10 Months Later

The grill area is FINALLY complete! It only took us 10 months, but thanks to J and his dad for doing ALL the work, and waiting so patiently for me to make selections. It feels like the official start of spring hosting season.

Spring always feels like momentum — creative gatherings, lighter dinners, open windows, and small upgrades that make home feel even better.

If you’ve been thinking about hosting something different this season, consider this your sign.
