A curated start to the week
Some weeks are packed with events, and others are a little slower — the kind that leave space for quiet mornings, coffee rituals, and finally enjoying projects around the house. This week was one of those. Between work days, outdoor kitchen evenings, and a surprise lunch spot in Cape Coral, it ended up being full of the little moments that make everyday life feel special.
Each Monday, I share a small mood board of what inspired the week—things I’m loving, cooking, wearing, and saving lately.
This Week’s Moodboard

1. Magic Bulbs & Ambiance
I first discovered magic bulbs when I opened Grazing Haus and I needed to light over head pendants without running new electrical. These little but mighty bulbs are an easy solution for outdoor kitchen lighting when you want to add mood lighting without the need of an electrician. Luckily for me, I found a set that is rechargeable using a simple USB-C plug. They also come with a remote so you can dim them or switch the warmth depending on the mood. They worked perfectly for our outdoor kitchen we've been enjoying.
2. $23 Skirt - Spring Essential
I've linked my favorite Abercrombie skirt HERE. I am wearing a small, and you can't beat this for $23. It's an easy thing to throw on and I pair it with my favorite Amazon tank top for an everyday Southwest Florida outfit.
3. Patio Set Up
With the slower days recently, I’ve actually been enjoying spending time in the sun here. I really feel like I've figured out the perfect spot on the patio, now shaded with an umbrella, I can even enjoy my afternoon espresso and take in the canal view at home.

4. NEW: Bimini Baisin Seafood and Cocktails in Cape Coral
J and I have been watching this project come to fruition over the last 3+ years, and we spontaneously decided to grab lunch there on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised. As locals, you always assume something that feels this “tropical” is bound to be a tourist trap filled with frozen drinks and fried fish. But against the odds, we left already planning who we’d bring with us next time.
What we loved:
- Free garage parking or complimentary valet
- Attentive and knowledgeable service
- A fish sandwich that actually had a generous portion of fish on it
- Tacos that left me full, not wondering where the shrimp were
- Cocktails that were cold and well-balanced
They also have docks for boat traffic. For us, it’s not necessarily a location we’d cruise to given where our boat is located, but for those coming from upriver, it would be a great destination — especially with a canal cruise before you arrive.

5. Maple Lattes at Home

Sharing my easy maple syrup latte recipe (I've been making these for years). These are refreshing and not too sweet! If you're looking for a non-dairy option, I love to use MALK (unflavored).
- 1-2 espresso shots
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 6 oz milk
- Ice
- Brew espresso into glass and add maple syrup
- Whisk syrup into espresso
- Add milk and Ice
- Stir and enjoy
I've linked all my Amazon latte tools HERE, including my glass cups, whisk, and of course my espresso machine.

6. St. Patrick's Day Nods Around Town

I came across some seasonal and fun St. Patricks Day items, including St. Pattys Shamrock plants at Trader Joes and a Sommerdale Irish Cheddar wrapped in Irish Flag Colored Wax at Costco.
That’s what’s been inspiring the week around the Haus lately. If you try the latte recipe or visit Bimini Basin, let me know — I always love hearing what you discover too.
