Permission to Say Yes
For years, I thought saying yes to a weekend away meant saying no to my business.
If I stepped away, I worried I'd miss an opportunity. Lose an order. Fall behind.
Looking back, I realize so much of that came from fear.
Now, I'm learning something different.
Jeremy and I didn't spend the last ten years building our careers just so we could keep working—we built it so we could build a life, too.
This weekend was one of those reminders.
First Time Scalloping
This weekend took us to New Port Richie for our very first scalloping trip.
What started as a weekend on the water turned into something much bigger—meeting new friends, sharing great meals, and enjoying the kind of slow, stress-free weekend we used to think we didn't have time for.
Sometimes the best adventures aren't the farthest away.
Sometimes they're only a few hours from home.

If you're thinking about trying scalloping...
- It's not an all day affair, and you don't have to go at sunrise
- It's easier to spot scallops when the sun is shining
- You need a lot of scallops for 1 meal (like 20 per person, trust me)
- Cleaning them with a shopvac is the life hack

Clean, crisp, and one of those bottles that disappears before you realize you've poured a second glass.
The Hunger Games
Jeremy and I started rewatching the series now that it's on Netflix and I forgot how good they are.
The multitasker in me can't get enough, plus I love listening in my windown tub time.
There's no better feeling than a comp[leted space in your home! I love the color: acnhors aweigh.
