Monday Moodboard | Week 25

Monday Moodboard | Week 25

There are certain weeks that feel so full, yet somehow pass by in the blink of an eye.

This was one of them.

We came home from our scalloping trip and jumped right back into work mode. My mornings started back at the gym, I documented my first CoolPeel laser treatment, and the weekend was filled with two Grazing Haus events that reminded me why I love bringing people together around a table.

By Sunday night, I was completely exhausted.

Somewhere in the middle of all the busyness, I caught myself thinking...

How is it already the end of July?

Around the Haus

One of my favorite projects finally came to life this week.

I partnered with Quince to add European linen curtains to our dining room, and I can't believe how much one change transformed the entire space.

Before

After

For the first time since moving into this house, the room finally feels... finished.

More than that, it feels like home. I catch myself just walking over to the curtains just to touch them. This is the kind of home improvement you "feel" when you walk in.

For someone who has always believed that the best conversations happen around a table, creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and lived in means more than I can really put into words.

It's where I hope people gather for years to come.

What I'm Eating

Friday night was sushi at MAKS Asian Kitchen & Sushi in Fort Myers with friends before a weekend filled with Grazing Haus events.

I've started appreciating those simple dinners more than ever. A table full of good food, people you enjoy being around, and nowhere else you need to be for the next hour or two. It's funny how often those unplanned evenings become the ones you remember long after the busy weekend is over.

What I'm Wearing

I've unknowingly settled into a summer uniform.

Relaxed denim.

Simple tees.

Linen whenever possible.

Warm browns, creams, and soft neutrals.

The older I get, the less interested I am in chasing trends and the more I appreciate having pieces that make getting dressed feel effortless.

These denim linen jeansfrom Abercrombie + Fitch were my favorite purchase of the summer

What's in My Glass

If you've been following along lately, you've probably noticed a pattern.

Summer months wines are white, crisp, and chilled, and this week was officially the week of Grüner Veltliner.

I grew up with this white Austrian wine, which is probably why I reach for it out of familiarirty.  Crisp, citrusy, refreshing, and somehow perfect for Florida's heat.

If you like Sauvignon Blanc, then I beg you to try a good glass of gruner this Summer.

This Week

I'm trading the coast for horse country.

This week I'm heading to Ocala to celebrate Michelle's birthday and spend a few days riding horses again—something I haven't done nearly enough over the years.

One of my favorite parts about spending time with Michelle is that we've known each other for over ten years. There's something really special about being with someone who's seen every version of you. We always end up reflecting on where we started, how much has changed, and dreaming about where life might take us next.

Those conversations have a way of bringing everything back into perspective.

As excited as I am for the adventure, I'm looking forward to slowing down, putting my phone away a little more, and simply being present. Because if this week reminded me of anything, it's that life moves quickly enough on its own—we don't need to rush through it.

I can't wait to share it all with you next Monday.

Until then, here's your reminder (and mine) to slow down just enough to notice the season you're already in.

See you next Monday. 🤍
