What I’m Loving This Week
Welcome back to Monday Moodboard — my weekly roundup of what I’m doing, eating, wearing, loving and sharing lately.
This one is coming to you a day late from Montana. Last week was mostly the unglamorous part of travel: errands, doctor appointments, sending quotes, finishing Grazing Haus orders, getting to the gym every day, eating everything left in the fridge, and dropping off the dogs before we left Thursday night.
And honestly, I’m appreciating it.
This slower season has given me a little room to catch up before work inevitably speeds back up again this fall.

WHAT I’M EATING + DRINKING
Travel Snack Lineup
We tried very hard not to buy groceries before leaving, so meals were basically whatever we could turn into dinner from what was already in the house.
For travel snacks, I stocked up on Chomps, nuts, Barebells bars, mint tea, and Lenny & Larry’s cookies — which I love for reasons I cannot fully explain.
And apparently the gallon-jug era is continuing because I’ve been drinking SO much water.
I also packed two nice bottles of wine in new Wine Angels sleeves, and I’m officially obsessed. Anything that lets me safely put wine in a checked suitcase gets my vote.

I packed a bottle of Salvestrin wine I picked up in June on my Wine Trip.
WHAT I’M WEARING
A few early Montana MVPs:
My ancient Columbia jacket that I’ve had forever and somehow still reach for every time it gets cold.
My linen-blend denim from Abercrombie.

Shop the jeans HERE.
And most importantly: slippers.
I almost never pack slippers, and I am ridiculously happy I brought them this time. Consider me converted.
AT HOME
Before leaving, I did my usual plant-prep scramble and got everything organized for my friend Rachel to check in and water while we’re gone.
A very glamorous part of being an adult who owns too many plants.
I am also launching a new House Note series as I begin to share more details on the new house Jeremy and I built last year. This week I wanted to kick things off with lighting, you can follow me on my personal Instagram and shop the post on my LTK.

THIS WEEK’S FEELING
Enjoy the Slow Season
The biggest reminder last week was to enjoy the slower weeks while they’re here.
There will always be another busy season, another event, another deadline, another trip.
Right now, I’m trying to appreciate having enough breathing room to finish what needs to be done without feeling like I’m constantly racing the clock.

LOOKING AHEAD
Montana Requires a Little Adventure
My first impression of Montana?
Bring your sense of adventure.
If you’re waiting for entertainment to come to you, this can feel like a very slow place. But if you’re willing to drive, explore, wander into a new town, find a trail, chase a hot spring or pull into one of the hilarious little drive-thru espresso huts… there’s plenty to discover.
This week we’re moving to our next Airbnb, riding in Bitterroot, exploring a few new towns, hopefully finding some hot springs, and maybe even making it to a rodeo Friday.
I have a feeling this is going to be one of those trips where the best parts are the things we didn’t plan.
